Field Day 2013 will be hosted by the PVARC at the North Field of the New Mexico Millitary Institute. This high-visibility location will provide the public with an excellent opportunity to check out HAM radio and see what it's all about. We are seeking volunteers to help with this event. The Pecos Valley Amateur Radio Club (PVARC) is located in Roswell, NM and serves Roswell and the surrounding communities. The club operates under the call sign W5ZU and is open to all who are interested in the hobby of amateur radio. We work to promote and support the hobby of amateur radio in the Chaves County area through fellowship, education, outreach and community support. We invite you to learn more about us here at our web site, on our nightly VHF net, at our Saturday Coffee Klatch or at one of our regular meetings.
We meet monthly on the first Thursday. Meetings start at 7:00 PM at the PVARC Clubhouse. the clubhouse is located in Cahoon Park in Roswell near the intersection of Riverside Drive and Ohio Avenue. Field Day Plans Underway

The PVARC has begun planning for field day 2013. We have big plans for this year, as we embark on a yearlong campaign to re-launch the club, recruit new members and promote the hobby of amateur radio in our little slice of New Mexico.
